Job Description
Elevate your career as a Project Metallurgist with Agnico Eagle, Canada’s largest mining company. This Fly-In Fly-Out role focuses on process plant operations and performance optimization.
As a Project Metallurgist reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, you will be instrumental in maintaining production stability and pursuing safety practices. A degree in Metallurgical Engineering and at least two years' experience in mining process operations are essential. You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of plant processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure safety and environmental compliance
- Validate sampling results and maintain accurate production reports
- Review and approve operational procedures for staff adherence
- Analyze KPIs and propose corrective actions
- Lead process optimization initiatives and keep control plans updated
Requirements
- University degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years' mining process operations experience
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
