Job Description
Shape the future of metallurgical consulting with Glencore Canada in Falconbridge, ON, as a Laboratory Coordinator. Focus on safety, continuous improvement, and team leadership in your lab operations. As a key member of the XPS Special Projects Division, you will guide technicians in processing metallurgical samples while ensuring all safety protocols are met.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to design and assess project requirements for optimal results. Strong leadership in managing lab schedules and quality assurance will be critical in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee safe lab operations and zero harm initiatives
- Lead development of new lab procedures and protocols
- Coordinate technician work schedules and training
- Manage laboratory inventory and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet lab objectives Requirements:Degree in Mineral Processing or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with lab information systems
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience in an industrial environment Promote laboratory excellence and technician development with Glencore Canada.
