3Q Project — 2018 Technical Report

The 3Q Project is a lithium brine extraction and processing facility designed to produce 20,000 tonnes per year of Battery Grade Lithium Carbonate (Li2CO3) over a 35-year mine life. The project utilizes a multi-site approach involving brine extraction at the 3Q Salar, intermediate processing at the Fiambalá Site, and final product manufacturing at the Recreo Site. Production is staged across three phases to accommodate declining lithium grades in the brine over time.

Mine 14 — Technical Report

This section of the Technical Report outlines the Recovery Methods for the Mine 14 Project, focusing on the design and operation of a Coal Preparation Plant (CPP). Summit intends to sell the Mine 14 coal into export metallurgical coal markets. Due to the high ash content of the Run-of-Mine (ROM) coal (+15% adb), processing is required to reduce ash below 8% db to meet market specifications. Dr. Peter J. Bethell of Bethell Processing Solutions LLC was engaged to design the CPP flowsheet, which serves as the basis for permitting and construction specifications.

Blanket Mine’s Rod Mill, Gravity and Oxygen-Assisted CIL Plant Recovers 93.8% of Gold at About 66 kt a Month

The Blanket Gold Mine plant operates as a conventional crushing, milling, Carbon-in-Leach (CIL), batch elution, and smelting facility. The plant is currently designed to process Run of Mine (RoM) ore at a rate of 70.1 kilotonnes per month (ktpm). While the crushing and milling circuits are optimized for RoM, the CIL and downstream circuits were originally designed to treat tailings dam material at a higher rate of approximately 110 ktpm. The facility utilizes a combination of gravity concentration and leaching to recover gold, with historic production data from 2012 to 2022 showing an average milled tonnage of 752 kt/yr and an overall recovery rate averaging 93.41%.
