This 2021 technical report and preliminary economic assessment presents a conceptual graphite processing route for the La Loutre project, based on historical testwork and proposed flowsheet design.
Report context
The La Loutre Graphite Project 2021 Technical Report, dated September 10, 2021, constitutes a National Instrument 43-101 technical report and preliminary economic assessment. The effective date of the mineral resource estimate presented in this report is May 14, 2021. The report includes sections on geology and mineralization, exploration and drilling, metallurgical testwork, mineral resource estimates, mine plan, recovery methods, infrastructure, and capital and operating cost estimates.
Processing route
Metallurgical Testwork Background
Metallurgical testwork was conducted on composites from the La Loutre property. Table 13-1 details the metallurgical composites used, while Table 13-2 reports carbon speciation and total sulphur analysis, Table 13-3 presents whole rock analysis, and Table 13-4 provides ICP-scan results, all with values expressed in percent or grams per tonne as applicable. Size fraction analysis of combined concentrate from the Lac Loutre (sic) composite is presented in Table 1-1, showing the distribution of graphite concentrate across particle size fractions.
Proposed Processing Design
The report describes proposed recovery methods under Section 25.9, within the overall framework of a preliminary economic assessment. The processing route is conceptual in nature at this stage, based on the metallurgical characterization work completed. No specific flowsheet details are provided in the available report sections; the processing approach is derived from the mineralogical and metallurgical data collected during testwork programs.
Historical Processing Context
Historical operating data from previous work on the property is referenced through the metallurgical testwork results. Table 1-1, titled "Size Fraction Analysis of Combined Concentrate of LCT," provides analytical results that show testwork completed during the characterization of graphite mineralization from the La Loutre deposit.

Technical qualifications
This report is a preliminary economic assessment based on conceptual processing design and historical testwork data. The mineral resource estimate is not a mineral reserve and does not have demonstrated economic viability. The recovery methods described are proposed designs that have not been confirmed through detailed engineering. All cost estimates in Tables 1-4, 1-5, and 1-6 are at a preliminary level and subject to change. The processing route relies on metallurgical testwork that may require additional confirmation through further testing. The report identifies specific risks under Section 25.15.1 and opportunities under Section 25.15.2 that should be considered in evaluating the project. Recommendations for additional metallurgical testwork are provided in Section 26.4.
