Executive Summary
Elcora/Ermazon plans to develop the Sidi Yahia Outat operation in three distinct stages. Initially, the company intends to sell raw ore to local mineral dealers at LME prices. Subsequent phases involve the construction of processing infrastructure to increase value.
The second stage involves constructing a semi-mobile gravimetric concentrator plant on skids or tracks, positioned close to the mining operation. Feeding methods include load-and-carry or excavate-haul-dump-feed. Tests conducted at RWTH Aachen mining university indicate that crushing, milling, rougher concentration with spirals, and Deister-tables can produce a 50% Lead concentrate with up to 10% Vanadium.
The third phase focuses on hydrometallurgical methods to separate Lead and Vanadium to 99.99% concentration from the gravimetric concentrate. Tailings will be managed via sediment ponds and dumped into dry Wadis covered by overburden. The all-in cost forecast for the concentrator operation is 120 US$/t of concentrate.
