Processing Overview
The crushing circuit reduces ore to 20mm prior to grinding. The grinding circuit utilizes two 1,200HP rod mills and one 5,000HP ball mill in closed circuit with cyclones. Flotation is conducted sequentially, starting with copper recovery using lime and specific collectors, followed by zinc recovery after pH adjustment and activation with copper sulphate. Dewatering is achieved via thickeners and filters, with specific moisture targets for the concentrates.
