Executive Summary
This section of the NI 43-101 Technical Report outlines the conceptual recovery methods for the TitanBeach project. As of the Effective Date, no metallurgical recovery tests have been conducted on the TitanBeach material. Consequently, no recovery factors, mass yields, or concentrate specifications are assumed in this Report. Any flowsheet discussion is conceptual only and will require bench-scale and pilot-scale testing on representative bulk samples to establish recoveries, product quality, and operating parameters.
Conceptually, heavy-mineral sands (HMS) recovery involves feed preparation, gravity concentration, and downstream magnetic and electrostatic separation. The conceptual product streams may include a Ti-mineral concentrate dominated by hemo-ilmenite and ilmenite, a magnetite concentrate, and potentially secondary rutile and zircon concentrates. The ability to separate and produce saleable products is not yet established and remains contingent on future test work.
