Executive Summary
Metallurgical test work for the Titiribi Project focused on conventional gravity and flotation methods applied to four geologic samples representing various mineralization styles at Cerro Vetas and Chisperos-Virgen. Each sample comprised approximately 75 kg of drill core collected from multiple drill holes to ensure representativeness. The testing suite included sample preparation, head grade analyses, Bond ball mill work index determination, grind studies, gravity tests, flotation of gravity tailings, and leaching of composite samples, alongside mineralogic studies.
Recovery results from the combination of gravity and flotation methods demonstrated high efficiency, achieving recoveries exceeding 93% from gold-copper mineralization and greater than 97% from gold-dominant mineralization. Additionally, crushing and cyanidation leach tests returned recoveries of greater than 87% on gold-dominant mineralization.
As all tests were performed on small samples, the report notes that future testing must focus on bulk samples to validate these results for larger scale operations.
