Brule Project — Technical Report

This report details the recovery methods for the Brule Project, focusing on the Willow Creek Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). The plant utilizes standard coal washing methods including heavy media cyclones, water only cyclones, spiral circuits, and flotation to reduce coal ash content to 8% on an air-dried basis. Designed by Taggart Global LLC, the plant has a capacity of 660 tonnes per hour and is intended to accommodate ROM tonnage from both Willow Creek and Brule mines. The target product specifications include a moisture content of 8.5% max, ash of 8.0 ± 0.5%, and sulfur less than 0.55%.
