Executive Summary
This technical report evaluates the recovery methods for the Croinor gold project, conducted by Blue Note Mining. The study reviews custom milling options available within a 120 km radius, including the Beacon Gold Mill, Aurbel Gold Mill, Sigma-Lamaque Complex, and Camflo Mill. Metallurgical test results from historical studies indicate that the Croinor ore is readily amenable to conventional processing, with recoveries ranging from 95.3% to 97.9%. The report recommends a recovery rate of 97.5% for the Preliminary Economic Assessment.
The analysis concludes that the Camflo Mill is the most suitable option for custom milling due to its prior experience with Croinor ore, availability for new feed, and established custom milling business. The selected processing route involves direct leaching using the Merrill-Crowe process. Additionally, the report highlights the potential for ore sorting at the mine site to reduce transportation and treatment costs, as well as the opportunity to install a gravity separator at the chosen mill to improve recovery and reduce operating costs.
