Executive Summary
This technical report details the processing strategy for the Coringa Gold Project, which relies on the existing Palito Plant facilities. The project utilizes a two-phase operational strategy: Phase I involves hauling ROM ore directly to the Palito Plant, while Phase II introduces a pre-concentration crushing and ore sorting facility at the Coringa site to remove barren waste prior to transport, thereby optimizing haulage costs and plant capacity.
The Palito Plant employs a complex metallurgical flowsheet to process both Palito and Coringa ores. The process includes crushing, ore sorting, grinding, and separate circuits for copper flotation and CIP (Carbon-in-Pulp) cyanidation. The Coringa-specific circuit features gravity concentration with intensive leaching via an Inline Leach Reactor (ILR) for higher recovery rates. The facility has demonstrated consistent metallurgical success, with recent plant upgrades increasing annual processing capacity to 210,000 tonnes per year.
