Executive Summary

This NI 43-101 Technical Report presents a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Enchi Gold Project, owned by Newcore Gold Ltd. The project involves the development of a permanent heap leaching facility designed to process oxide, transition, and fresh mineralization from the Sewum, Boin, Nyam, and Kwakyekrom deposits. The process route selected is a heap leach facility operating year-round, utilizing a design throughput rate of 6.6 Mt/a with an overall gold recovery of 79%.

The recovery process begins with open pit mining, where run-of-mine material is crushed using primary sizers and secondary cone crushers to a P80 size of 12.5 mm. The material is then agglomerated with lime and cement before being stacked on a heap leach pad. A dilute cyanide solution is irrigated onto the heap, and the resulting pregnant leach solution is processed through a carbon-in-column (CIC) circuit for gold adsorption.

Gold is recovered from the carbon via a Zadra type desorption process, followed by electrowinning onto steel wool cathodes and smelting into doré bullion. The facility is designed to produce approximately 90,000 troy ounces of gold doré annually, with a heap leach facility sized for a 10-year mine life. The project is currently in the development stage based on the PEA findings.
