Executive Summary
This section of the technical report details the recovery methods and process plant expansion for the Endako Mine. A new 50,000 tpd mill is under construction with production expected to commence in the first quarter of 2012. The estimated process recovery for the new plant is 79%, based on historic response and test work results.
The process plant includes in-pit crushing, SAG milling, ball milling, and a five-stage column clean flotation circuit. Roasting facilities will utilize existing gas-fired, rotary, multiple hearth roasters to convert MoS2 concentrate to MoO3. The expansion includes new tailing facilities (Pond 3) and upgrades to power and water supply infrastructure.
