Executive Summary
This section of the Oropesa MRE Report details the recovery methods sourced from the SRK 2014 NI43-101 PEA. SGS developed a preliminary flowsheet for treating Oropesa Run-of-Mine (RoM) material based on two samples tested in 2013/2014. Sample 1 represents high-grade primary sulphide material at 1.47% Sn, while Sample 2 represents low-grade secondary sulphide material at 0.33% Sn. The flowsheet is primarily based on the high-grade primary sulphide sample.
Tin flotation recovery is estimated at 85% Sn based on testwork. SGS is confident that flotation concentrates can be upgraded to marketable grades (>55% Sn) using the process from the Wheal Jane tin mine in Cornwall, which utilized high circulating loads in cleaners. However, SRK notes that only rougher flotation testwork was undertaken, and the upgrade process has not been tested on Oropesa material. Secondary sulphide samples showed lower recoveries due to stannite mineralogy and slimes losses.
SRK highlights a shortcoming in that no metallurgical testwork has been undertaken since 2010 for oxide mineralisation, which contributes approximately 25% to the Mineral Resource. Recommendations include carrying out testwork on samples representing planned grades, demonstrating the applicability of the Wheal Jane upgrade process, conducting tailings flotation testwork for secondary sulphides, and performing detailed testwork for oxide material.

Executive Summary
This section details the recovery methods for the Oropesa deposit based on the SRK 2014 NI43-101 PEA. SGS developed a preliminary flowsheet treating Oropesa Run-of-Mine (RoM) material, primarily based on a high-grade primary sulphide sample (1.47% Sn). A tin flotation recovery of 85% Sn has been estimated. The flowsheet suggests upgrading concentrates using processes similar to the Wheal Jane tin mine in Cornwall.
SRK Consulting noted significant limitations in the testwork. The high-grade sample used does not represent the average grade of the deposit, and no metallurgical testwork has been undertaken since 2010 for the oxide mineralisation, which contributes approximately 25% to the Mineral Resource. SRK recommends further testwork on samples representing Life of Mine grades, demonstration of concentrate upgrading processes, sulphide tailings flotation testwork, and detailed oxide metallurgical testwork.

Executive Summary
SGS developed a preliminary flowsheet for treating the Oropesa Run of Mine material based on samples tested in 2013/2014. The testwork focused on two sample types: Sample 1, a high-grade primary sulphide material at 1.47% Sn, and Sample 2, a low-grade secondary sulphide material at 0.33% Sn. The proposed route involves grinding, sulphide flotation to remove sulphides, gravity separation using Wilfley Tables and Falcon Separators, and Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separation (WHIMS) to remove magnetic minerals.
The preliminary flowsheet estimates an overall tin recovery of approximately 80% for the primary sulphide sample and 67% for the secondary sulphide sample, resulting in an average estimated recovery of 74.5% for the Oropesa average head grade of 0.40% Sn. The process includes cassiterite flotation to upgrade concentrates from ~20% Sn to ~55% Sn using a process similar to the Wheal Jane tin mine in Cornwall. Sulphide losses are low (~1.5%), but stannite content and slimes generation contribute to tin losses.
SRK Consulting concluded that while conventional flotation and gravity methods show reasonable recoveries, the metallurgical testwork has limitations. The majority of testwork was on high-grade samples that do not represent the average orebody grade. SRK recommends further testwork on samples representing the planned Life of Mine grades, demonstration of the Wheal Jane upgrade process, tailings flotation testwork for secondary sulphide, and detailed metallurgical testwork for the oxide ore which comprises about 38% of the orebody.
