Executive Summary
This 2024 NI 43-101 Technical Report presents the initial mineral resource estimate (2023 MRE) for the Patwon gold deposit located on the Elmer Property. The project is currently in the exploration stage, with no operational infrastructure or processing methods defined at this time. The resource estimate includes Indicated and Inferred mineral resources totaling approximately 13.2 million tonnes at a grade of 1.9 g/t Au, representing approximately 825,000 ounces of gold. The estimate utilizes cut-off grades of 0.55 g/t, 1.05 g/t, and 1.90 g/t Au corresponding to potential open pit, underground bulk, and selective underground longhole mining scenarios.
The authors conclude that the database supporting the 2023 MRE is complete, valid, and up to date, with key parameters supported by statistical and geostatistical analyses. The deposit is situated within a greenschist metamorphic window, recognized as a prospective context for shear-related orogenic gold deposits. While 75% of the mineral resources are pit-constrained, additional diamond drilling could potentially upgrade some Inferred resources to the Indicated category and add to the Inferred resources, as most mineralized zones have not been fully explored along strike or at depth.
The report recommends a work program with a budget of $4.8 million, including exploration drilling on the Patwon east and west extensions and new targets to the east. Significant risks include geological complexity and the ability to attract experienced professionals, while opportunities include resource development potential and surface exploration drilling. The project has reasonable prospects for eventual economic extraction and sufficient merit for further exploration work and engineering studies.
