Executive Summary
This technical report outlines the recovery methods for the Tomingley and Peak Hill Gold Projects located in NSW, Australia. All ore from the Tomingley Gold Operations (TGO) and Tomingley Gold Extension Project (TGEP) is processed at the TGO processing plant adjacent to the Wyoming 3 pit. The facility utilizes a crushing circuit, single-stage milling, and a hybrid Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) circuit.
As of October 2024, the processing facility was upgraded to handle refractory ore, specifically finer grained gold associated with sulfides. This upgrade included the addition of a rougher flotation circuit, an IsaMILL™ for grinding flotation concentrate, and a thickener to reintroduce the concentrate into the existing CIL circuit. Metallurgical recovery is estimated at 87%, consistent with current performance.
Tailings are thickened and pumped to a paddock type tailings storage facility. The current approved facility is adequate until mid-2027, with potential for an additional 10.5Mt of capacity by raising the dam. Gold recovery involves electrowinning and smelting in a secure gold room.
