Executive Summary
This Pre-Feasibility Study (PEA) Report No. 227 outlines the recovery methods for the Little Deer Deposit, managed by Thundermin Resources Inc. The report details a conventional process flowsheet selected based on available metallurgical testwork. The project is currently in the development stage, with a proposed throughput of 1,800 tonnes per day.
The processing circuit involves crushing and grinding to a 90 micron grind size. Following this, flotation recovery is utilized to extract copper into a rougher concentrate. This rougher concentrate undergoes regrinding to minus 30 microns and is cleaned in a three-stage flotation circuit to achieve a marketable grade.
Power requirements for the milling process are estimated at approximately 28 kWh/t. The final concentrate is filtered to an assumed 8% moisture content prior to shipment. This flowsheet represents the technical basis for the economic evaluation presented in the report.
